Nearly a year later....

Alright so I am a horrible, horrible blogger! I have been consumed by all things tumblr this past year. (I'm shocked it's been so long!)

I always check out other blogs and then decide I want to blog.... so I'll probably get more into it for a few weeks and then drop it again for a year. Haha.

Life updates from this past year:

• Finally got a new car last July. I am the proud owner of a 2010 Chevy Cobolt! It's amazing.
• Worked two jobs until December.
  
• Went back to school in January.
  
• Brandon and I broke up in February. No new boys currently in my love life.
  
• Turned 22 in April. It was pretty chill....
  
• Got all As in my 3 classes that I took Winter semester!
• Am now back to working 2 jobs (Fashion Bug and waiting tables at Big Boy.

Annnnnnd that it is. I think. Not positive but in a nutshell the highs and the lows of the past year. Also I did have an interview for the Flint Plato's Closet and I'm really really hoping that I get the job because think of all the awesome clothes I can buy.... :) Oh lorrrrd.

I think I want to be a courtesan when I grow up....

Things I want to do before/during August :
1 - GET A HAIRCUT - So I want a haircut, possibly something short. idk.
2 - GO TALK TO COLLEGE PERSON - So I'm thinking about majoring in Business Management. I think I waited too long to register for Fall classes but we'll see.
3 - BUY A NEW CAR - ... no explanation necessary!

I hung out with Jenni-Loo today and it was an absolute blast. Plus I got free lunch. And by free lunch I mean Jenni and I were sitting around Noodle Co. eating our deeeeelicious food and the Chase Pick Up Your Tab team walked in. Anybody who had a Chase debit card with them automatically got $10 credited back to their account. HOW FREAKING SWEET!!!!!!!!

I found sooo many cute things while we were walking around and about that I wanted to buy but I really tried to refrain because I super want a new car. :) But it's possible I may be making another trip to Ann Arbor next weekend if I get it off. It's the art festival and should be amazing.

My amazing boyfriend fixed my screen door today that I broke. All I did was pay for supplies and his dinner. Which consisted of McDonalds. (In my defense it was his choice, I wasn't just being cheap...lol!) But what a sweetheart! I kinda like him. :)

So this weekend there was much chaos to be had. Friday I had the day off and I spent it going to the eye doctor, visiting friends at summer happenings, and then spending time with friends at my house. :) Emily, Dave and Brandon came over and we ate snacks and smoked a bunch of hookah and watched a bunch of arrested development.

On Saturday I worked all day and when I got off of work I went to the Fenton Hotel for Spencer's birthday. And I won't lie... the venue was definitely for the older generation. So we bought him some shots and we decided it was time to change settings. Brandon and I flew to the liquor store and bought some beer and hard liquor and met everyone back at my house and we drank and smoked hookah and watched arrested development.

This morning I woke up with one of the worst hangovers I've ever had. I took some tylenol put a bottled water at my bedside table and went back to bed. I woke up around 1 and then Brandon and I cleaned the kitchen/living room from last nights festivities and promptly went to CiCis where we gorged ourself on the buffet. Yum. My friend Erin also moved home today and I helped her unpack her car & U-Haul. We also were entertained by her 3 Year old brother, who was pretending to be a baby bird and basically getting in the way of us trying to unpack her stuff.

Now it's back to work for the week.... no more days off. But I think everyone is coming over on Friday again for Hookah & Hangout. :) And then fireworks on Saturday... but I'm not really sure I want to watch them because B will be at work and I have to work until 9:30. So whatever! We'll see what goes on.

An annoying thing is because of all the night-time activities this weekend I have like 16 mosquito bits on my FEET. It's driving me nuts!!!! One of them is even on the bottom of my foot... like how does that happen when I was wearing shoes???

PS. The awesome Grey Goose Lamp pictured above cost me $10 and it's SO cool. If I had a bar or specific drinking area I'd totally want more than one of these hanging around. I bought it from my friend who made them for her craft booth at the Summer Happenings!!!

Oh ef em el!

So I've been doubting the hair school route lately. And I've taken to taking these stupid personality tests online to tell me what I should major in. And it's absolutely STUPID. The tests don't come out with answers that sound anything remotely like me. So tell me.... what should I major in when I go back to school?! Because lets face it, I really really want to go back to school. I'm sick of working 2 mindless jobs for minimum wage! UGH.

For those who've been following my tumblr lately they'll know that I really want a pet. Like a cat or a dog. I've even done my research as to what type of cat/dog I want. I've even picked out NAMES. But sadly, I cannot afford a little bundle that would bring me such joy. :( Sad I know. But I'm getting closer and closer to having a decent down payment on my new car. So once I have that I can finally get serious about looking. Even though I know what I want.

I've been a very bad blogger, I know this. But I'll try to get better. (I always say that.)

Alright so it's been pretty busy around here lately!!! Holy moly I don't know where to begin.

We cleaned out a huge chunk of our basement today. It felt good to get rid of so much JUNK I had laying around!! Plus I found some old cds that I wanted to burn to my computer. So that = awesome.

That's really all I got. I've been cutting back on my obsessive shopping, I REALLY want a new car so that's where my motivation & money needs to go towards. :) Maybe instead of shopping I'll start blogging more... we'll see how that goes!! Hahaha.

La la la la

So I was scanning the Victoria's Secret catalog about a week ago and I found the best thing EVER. Like if I didn't just put all my tax refund into my car a few weeks back I would have SO bought these little devils. And I was going to include a picture of these glorious knee-high gladiator sandles of goodness, BUT they aren't on the website!!! So you'll have to imagine them in your heads okay?! Lets just say they are AMAZING.

And on that note I haven't really been feeling the best lately... sad day. Especially since I've been skipping out on work to just lay in bed and such. UGH. I need money but not when I feel like crap.
So I'm going to go pop in Daria (yes you read that right) I bought it last week but haven't had any time to watch it. :)
